How to Measure Yourself for the Perfect Fit

To ensure you choose the right size, it’s important to take accurate measurements of your body. Here’s a simple guide on how to measure yourself to find your best fit:

1. Bust Measurement

  • What you’ll need: A soft measuring tape.
  • How to measure:
Stand up straight with your arms at your sides. Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, making sure it runs under your arms and across your shoulder blades. Keep the tape comfortably snug, but not tight, and take the measurement in cm or inches.

2. Waist Measurement

  • What you’ll need: A soft measuring tape.
  • How to measure:
Find your natural waistline, which is usually the narrowest part of your torso, just above your belly button. Stand tall and wrap the measuring tape around your waist, making sure it’s parallel to the ground. Don’t pull the tape too tight — keep it snug but not restrictive. Record the measurement in cm or inches.

3. Hip Measurement

  • What you’ll need: A soft measuring tape.
  • How to measure:
Stand with your feet together and wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips, usually about 20 cm (8 inches) below your waist. Ensure the tape is level all the way around and fits comfortably, not too tight. Take the measurement in cm or inches.

4. Additional Tips

  • Use a mirror: To make sure the measuring tape is straight and level, check yourself in a mirror as you measure.
  • Take the measurements twice: It’s always a good idea to measure twice to ensure accuracy.
  • Get help if needed: If you find it tricky to measure certain areas like your bust or hips, ask a friend or family member to assist.
  • Don’t pull too tight: The measuring tape should be snug, but not tight or stretched. You should be able to breathe comfortably.

5. Choosing Your Size

Once you have your bust, waist, and hip measurements, compare them to our size guide. Select the size that most closely matches your measurements, or if you’re in between sizes, consider the fit you prefer (e.g., looser or more fitted).
